The 2011 Parade of Ponds & Pools is a self guided tour of over 20 of the best ponds and pools in the Sioux Falls Area. All proceeds for this event benefit the River of Hope Foundation allowing them to continue their mission of providing a better quality of life for those affected by cancer.

The River of Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization that, with the help of individual donations and corporate sponsorships, creates tranquil healing environments at the residences of nominated cancer patients. These private sanctuaries provide a calming escape-a place of healing- where emotional and environmental stress can be relieved, allowing those who are suffering the opportunity to gain the peace and strength needed to push on and win the battle.
